Due to overwhelming clutter, we'd much rather stay virtual and are no longer accepting CDs.

We try to listen to all but cannot respond to every request. It is not arrogance - there is simply not enough time.

Also, be aware that Barbès is a VERY small space located in a residential area. We prefer acoustic music, cannot have any rock bands, avoid electric bass and program almost no singer/songwriters or straight-ahead jazz.
