CHICHA LIBRE AT SOB'S, BARBES AND CINCO DE MAYO.
We're back from a crazy South American tour which took us to Peru, holy land of Chicha, to Sao Paulo, where we played in front in 300,000 (we didn't count... ) and Recife, where we shared the stage with Arnaldo Antunes - and an amazing Argentinean tour where audiences apparently went through the trouble of memorizing our music for the sheer pleasure of singing along. We can't wait to get back to Buenos Aires. Our first show since Brazil, appropriately enough, is tomorrow night at Sounds of Brazil.

And we will celebrate CINCO DE MAYO at LITTLEFIELD right by the Gowanus. While we are not technically a Mexican band per we do boast French and Mexican band members, which makes us perfect candidates to reenact the battle of Puebla in which Mexicans routed the French army on a certain cinq mai. Banda de los Muertos will play at 9pm. Do not miss them. Chicha Libre will follow at 10:30pm
Least not last, we will resume our Mondays at Barbes on May 2d.
Should that not enough, you can always see us in Switzerland on Memorial Day Weekend.
