We just wanted to let you know that Allyssa and I will be getting married on Sunday June 27th, and we would love it if you could attend.
Yes, this is a Save The Date email, otherwise known as an STD email. We do not have all the details yet.
We do know that the wedding will happen, that it will happen on that day, that it will happen in Brooklyn and will involve a party with live music. And we know that we'd love for you to be there.
Some of you may think that we're rushing into this. Allyssa and I have known each other for barely nine years. Some people have remarked that we could have waited for our daughter Lucie to at least be of drinking age, so she could enjoy the party. We, however, think that the time has come.
